North State Bank Announces 17th Annual Summer Salute For Transitions LifeCare

“The Embers,” North Carolina’s own beach music band, will once again provide entertainment for the charity event, to be held on May 2, 2020, that has donated over $1.7 million for Transitions LifeCare.

RALEIGH, NC . . . Ready for the beach? Or, perhaps the next best thing? North State Bank’s Summer Salute for Transitions LifeCare, the event that brings the beach to you, will be held on Saturday evening, May 2, 2020, at North Ridge Country Club in Raleigh, announced Sandra A. Temple and Jim Branch, co-chairs for the event. “The Embers” with Craig Woolard, North Carolina’s own beach music band, will entertain while attendees enjoy food, fun and dancing.

“This year’s Summer Salute is shaping up to be one of the best ever,” Temple shared. “Our committee is hard at work and that means May 2 will be another great time for a wonderful cause. Each month when our planning committee meets, we hear from a Transitions LifeCare ‘hero,’ an employee or volunteer who makes a difference for those who need care and their families. I continue to be impressed with what they accomplish and by the sheer number of people they serve every day. It makes all of the work more than worthwhile just to be able to help.”

Branch said, “As I’ve shared before, Summer Salute is simply a not-to-be-missed evening. We have a great time. North State Bank is as committed to this event today as they were 17 years ago, and perhaps more so. Mark your calendar for Saturday night, May 2 and we’ll see you there.”

Attire is “summer night casual” and tickets are $100 each. Additional information is available and tickets can be purchased at SummerSalute.com. Tickets also can be purchased at any North State Bank office.

Now in its 17th year, Summer Salute has donated over $1.7 million to Transitions LifeCare, the leading provider of hospice and palliative care in Wake County and the surrounding area. Funds provided from Summer Salute support programs for families who otherwise could not afford care.

Founded in 2000, North State Bank is a full-service community bank serving Wake and New Hanover counties through seven full-service offices.
