It’s Cuisine with a Cause

The 30th Anniversary of A Toast to the Triangle will occur this March 6, 2016. This culinary event raises funds for the Tammy Lynn Memorial Foundation. The Tammy Lynn Center for more than four decades have empowered families by providing services to individuals with developmental disabilities. The Tammy Lynn Center serves more than 400 families per year with the services and programs such as early intervention, day services, therapy services, respite care program and residential services to consist of center-based residential and community residential services.

In 1986 the first Toast to the Triangle was implemented and over the years it has grown to include tens of restaurants and wineries to come together and feature their cuisine to the thousands, who come to support the Tammy Lynn Center fundraiser. If you attended one fundraiser then you know each year you must return to continue your support and also to sample some of the best cuisine in North Carolina.

Top restaurants in the area such as the Angus Barn participated in this event by providing mouth- watering baby back ribs which is a crowd pleaser year after year. Other fine restaurants who participate in A Toast to The Triangle are Mura, Reys, Azitra, the Oxford, Empire Eats, and Bella Monica, for example. In addition, one would find bakeries such as Simply Cakes and Neomonde, Groovy Duck Bakery and Howling Cow, etc. You can wash it all down with beverages provided by Pepsi-Cola and Carolina Brewing Company, just to name a few.

The Toast to the Triangle is one of the best events in the Triangle and beyond. There is no other place in the Triangle where you can taste great cuisine, desserts, wine and beer all under one roof. But most importantly it’s for a great cause. So mark your calendars for March 6, 2016.
