Weddings are special days for everybody. These ten popular wedding traditions can help make it the best.

Women wear a white Bridal veil on top of their hair. It covers the woman’s head and walks down the aisle. The bridal veil is long, white, and see-through, and has been a stable tradition for centuries.


The Wedding Cake
The wedding cake has three layers. It has one in the bottom, one in the middle, and one in the top.
Each of them has decorations with colors selected by the wedding couple with their choice of flavors. The wedding cake has a small statue of the wedding couple, and after the wedding ceremony, the wedding couple takes the first slice of the cake.


A White wedding dress
The white dress has been a tradition in Western culture for a long time and is now reaching many cultures across the world.


Bouquet toss
A bouquet toss is when the bride has the bouquet in her hands and throws it. Every single woman tries to get it they say the one who catches the bouquet will get married next.


Bridesmaids
Bridesmaids are a group of women who hold flowers and join the bride by the altar. Bridesmaids are
chosen by the bride usually close friends and family.


Groomsmen

Groomsmen are chosen by the groom of their closest friends and family to join them to help coumarate their special day.


Garter toss
The garter toss includes the bride wearing a garter that the groom would take off. The Groom tosses the garter, and the single at the reception tries to catch it like the bouquet toss.


Honeymoon
The honeymoon is the vacation that the wedding couple takes after the wedding. It is a time of rest to enjoy with each other and bask in their feelings of being newlyweds


The Engagement Ring
The engagement ring is a ring that the wedding couple gives to each other. They both wear it until the day of the wedding where they get new rings to present to each other.


Wedding Rings
Wedding rings are what the bride and groom wear during the wedding. The bride gives the ring
to the groom. The groom gives the ring to the bride. These rings don’t have diamonds but have
gold and silver bands.


These trends are celebrated everywhere in the world and will be a part of wedding traditions for centuries to come.
