Resistance Training The Healthy Choice

Resistance training can improve bone, joint function, bone density, and muscle in addition to tendon and ligament strength. Resistance training is something you can do at either the gym or at home; however, if you are one of us who says I’ll do it tomorrow when the kids are asleep” and it was three years ago, you may want to join the gym. This way you will not be distracted by the activities at home which seem to distract or give us an excuse to put it off til tomorrow.

Resistance training also requires very little equipment. For example, you can get great results with dumbbells, resistance bands and a balance ball.

Resistance training is something you can do at the gym as well as home. The use of dumbbells and barbells can be utilized at any time. You can do squats anytime and anywhere. The results of resistance training will provide you with a more fit and toned body while also boosting your energy levels and improving your mood and balance.
