Chicago Bears Have Traded For Carolina Panthers Wide Receiver D.J. Moore

In the 2018 NFL Draft the Carolina Panthers selected Wide Receiver D.J. Moore from the University of Maryland where he played college football and made First-team All-Big Ten in 2017 and was the Big Ten Receiver of the Year. He found success in Carolina swiftly as he had three straight one-thousand-yard seasons with three different quarterbacks. Meanwhile, the Chicago Bears lost many important players to opposing teams. Mitchell Trubisky goes to Buffalo, Haha-Clinton Dix goes to Dallas, Akiem Hicks goes to Tampa, Tarik Cohen retires, and Allen Robinson goes to Los Angeles. The Bears were struggling a lot because of losing those players and the miraculous happens as the Bears clinched the first overall pick for this upcoming draft thanks to an Indianapolis Colts loss. Many were saying the Bears should part ways with their current quarterback Justin Fields and draft Bryce Young from the University of Alabama. However, the Bears traded the number one pick for the No. 9 pick, No. 61 pick, Panthers first rounder in 2024, Panthers second rounder in 2025, and wide receiver D.J. Moore.

The Chicago Bears had three wins and fourteen losses last season with a great defense and run game. Justin Fields was setting and breaking passing and rushing records at the quarterback position left and right. Now, what happens in Chicago on the field only the players and coaching staff can decide as General Manager Ryan Poles put them in a great position to succeed. Now, with a weak NFC North, the Chicago Bears are in position to win the division for the first time since the 2019-20 NFL regular season. Will they? Only the players and coaching staff can answer that question as well as general manager Ryan Poles.
