Caleb Love Transfers From Chapel Hill To Ann Arbor

Two of the most notable players in the NBA are natives of St. Louis, Missouri: Bradley Beal and Jayson Tatum. Current college basketball standout Caleb Love is also a St. Louis native and, unfortunately for North Carolina fans, a former Tar Heel. Love announced on his social media accounts today that he’s transferring to Michigan to play for NBA and college basketball legend Juwan Howard. As a Tar Heel, Love was a member of the 2021 ACC All-Freshman Team and was a vital piece of the Tar Heels 2022 national championship run that ended in a loss to Kansas in the national championship game.

Love earned a place in College Basketball lore when, in Mike Krzyzewski’s last game as Duke head coach, Love made a pivotal three-pointer and scored twenty-eight points to help the Tar Heels get to the national championship game. Michigan’s in a fascinating place at the start of this college basketball offseason as they lost one of college basketball’s best players in Hunter Dickinson but now got one of the other best players in the sport in Caleb Love. Love, at 6-foot-3, has good size, is strong, can create space for jump shots, and has never been bashful or lacking confidence. Love already has high NBA draft stock and can only go higher with excellent performances for Juwan Howard’s Michigan team this upcoming college basketball season.
