Springtime is a perfect season for weddings with fresh blooming leaves and flowers, everything looks romantic. Here are some new and old bridal trends that have made an impact this wedding season.
1. Dutch Masters Inspired Floral Designs– It’s no surprise florals are popular in the spring season but the Dutch master floral arrangements have taken the wedding world by storm. Dutch master flowers trace back to the 1600s when painters imagined beautiful flower arrangements when they were unimaginable. Flowers are seasonal and back then people didn’t have the technology or craft to get them all in one place. So painters took it upon themselves to paint floral arrangements with any flower they wanted. This style and pattern have become popular with weddings and now we can combine many types of flowers to create an elegant and colorful bouquet.
2. Champagne towers- Nothing is more classic than a champagne tower as it’s a grand addition to any wedding with a Great Gatsby flare. It has an excellent presentation and will be the highlight of any wedding.
3. Colorful palettes with Maximalist decor- Colorful and bold is the trend that is making waves this spring. Bright colors and grand decor leave a lasting impression on any wedding, and for those who want a grand occasion, maximalist decor is the way to go with filling your wedding to the max with decorations.
4. Wedding Newspapers– A new creative way to show your appreciation to your guests is to gift them cool souvenir of wedding newspapers. You make a newspaper all about your wedding that creates a unique twist on wedding brochures leaving a unique footprint for years to come.
5. Destination Weddings-Destination weddings are back and with spring finally here many places around the world are brilliantly curating this time to find the perfect place and time to have the wedding of your dreams.
6. Scenting the Wedding- Take advantage of the wonderful scents that spring offers to bring a wonderful atmosphere to the ceremony and create a long-lasting memory.
7. Intimate Weddings- Weddings with only a select few people have been more popular, more affordable, and more enjoyable with your close-knit friends and family. Small and intimate weddings are more comfortable and alternative approach to the grand wedding tradition.
8. Retro Revivals- Traditional practices have made a surcharge in popularity. Using Polaroids and old cameras to take shots of the memorable moments of the ceremony creates a nostalgic look back on the past and the present for all weddinggoers to enjoy.
9. New Guest Dress Code- Having the guests have a dress code creates a great opportunity for pictures and includes more engagement for your guests. Many people have added new and exciting themes for the ceremonies like 1920’s or royal ball attire to create a unique atmosphere for the wedding.
10. Audio Guest Books- Instead of written books guests now have the opportunity to leave voice messages to be immortalized for years to come and playback for anniversaries and big milestones. Now with more advanced technology, we have ceremonies that can be enhanced and have a broader range of activities to make the wedding unforgettable.
