Well, that is exactly how Jeremy Brown came up with the concept behind his business, Jabba’s Creations. According to Mr. Brown, “Fried chicken was my favorite food, and I was eating so much of it that I soon wanted a different taste. Being a student in a culinary program I started messing around with different ingredients until one day I stirred up something that really excited me.” Jeremy was so impressed with what he had created that he let his father, who loved to cook as well, try it. Needless to say he was just as excited and he said, “Jab, I think you might have something.” Thus, Jabba’s Creations was born.
Established in May of 2012, it is Jabba’s mission to give a delightful, enjoyable, but different taste to food with a line of barbecue and dipping sauces. Currently, the line consists of Jabba’s Hot and Sweet BBQ & Dipping Sauce, which is a unique blend of hot and sweet that can be used on anything from wings and fries to ribs and vegetables. This versatile sauce made from natural ingredients can be used for marinating, dipping, grilling, and baking, making it a staple in kitchens across North Carolina.
Like most business owners, it is Mr. Brown’s dream to be able to place his product(s) on shelves in grocery stores and restaurants all over the world. Luckily for him, that dream is one step closer to becoming a reality as Jabba’s product(s) have been approved for sale in Lowe’s Foods throughout North Carolina. Jabba’s currently hosts bi-monthly taste events at certain Lowe’s Foods Stores as well.
As of now, Jabba’s Hot and Sweet BBQ & Dipping Sauce is currently serving the Piggly Wiggly in Leland, NC, Lowe’s Foods in Wilmington, Leland, Southport, Ocean Isle Beach, and Shallotte, NC as well as Coastal Seafood in Leland, NC. However, it will soon be hitting the shelves of Lowe’s Foods in Myrtle Beach, Little River, Murrell’s Inlet, and Pawley’s Island in South Carolina.
So whether you are looking to spice up a favorite recipe or you are simply bored with the bland flavors of some of your favorite foods, it is definitely worth it to give Jabba’s Hot and Sweet BBQ & Dipping Sauce a try.
